Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Ollee. Ollee is operated by Data Informatics Pty Ltd, a company registered in Australia. In these terms, "we", "us", and "Ollee" mean Data Informatics Pty Ltd. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to these terms.

What Ollee is

Ollee is a marketplace. We connect people who own robots and drones with people who want to rent them. The rental contract is between the owner and the renter. We are not the owner of any robot listed, and we are not a party to the rental. We provide the platform, the booking tools, and the payment handling that let the two sides deal with each other.

Who can use Ollee

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. You must give accurate information when you sign up. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, so keep your login details safe.

Listing a robot

If you list a robot, you are responsible for the accuracy of the listing. You confirm that you own the robot or have the right to rent it out. You must keep it safe and fit for the use you describe. You are responsible for holding any insurance, licences, and registrations that the law requires for your robot or drone.

Booking and payment

Renters pay when they book. We hold the payment and release it to the owner once the booking is confirmed. Ollee keeps a service fee on the owner side of each booking. The current fee is shown when you list and when you are paid. Payments and payouts are handled by Stripe, and your use of payments is also subject to Stripe's terms.

Managers

An owner can let another person or a company manage a robot. A manager runs the calendar and the bookings for that robot and keeps a share of each booking. The owner stays responsible for the robot unless they agree otherwise with the manager. You can read more on the how it works page.

Business listings

A business can add its own details, such as an ABN or ACN. A business can also choose to rent its robot only to other registered businesses. Where an owner sets that limit, you may need to provide a valid business number to book.

How you must behave

Cancellations and refunds

Cancellations and refunds follow the rental terms shown at the time of booking. The default rental terms are set out in our rental agreement. Nothing in these terms takes away any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Our liability

Ollee provides the platform on an "as is" basis. We do not control the robots, the owners, or the renters, and we are not responsible for what happens during a rental. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that arises from a rental or from your use of the site. Some rights and guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law cannot be excluded. Where they apply, our liability is limited to resupplying the service or paying the cost of having it resupplied, where the law allows that limit.

You cover us for your actions

You agree to cover us for any claim, loss, or cost that arises from your listings, your rentals, your breach of these terms, or your breach of the law, to the extent the law allows.

Suspending or closing accounts

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that puts other people at risk, or that we are required to act on by law. You can close your account at any time by contacting us.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the product grows. We will post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change is significant, we will give you reasonable notice. If you keep using Ollee after a change, you accept the new terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. You and Ollee submit to the courts of Australia for any dispute that these terms do not resolve.
