Privacy policy

This policy explains how Ollee handles your personal information. Ollee is operated by Data Informatics Pty Ltd. We follow the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988. By using Ollee, you agree to this policy.
What we collect
- Account details, such as your name and email address.
- Profile details that you choose to add, such as a photo, a bio, and your area.
- Listing details, including the robot, its capabilities, photos, and its location.
- Booking and message details that you create when you rent or let out a robot.
- Business details that you add, such as an ABN or ACN and insurance information.
- Usage data, such as how you move through the site, collected through analytics.
Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card number. Stripe collects your payment details directly under its own privacy terms.
How we use it
- To run the marketplace and let owners and renters deal with each other.
- To process bookings, payments, and payouts.
- To send you booking confirmations, messages, and other service emails.
- To keep Ollee safe and to detect and prevent fraud.
- To improve the product and understand how it is used.
- To meet our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We share the information that a booking needs with the other party to that booking. For example, an owner and a renter can see the details they need to complete a rental. We also use service providers who help us run Ollee, and they handle data on our behalf. These include Stripe for payments, Amazon Web Services for hosting and email, Google for sign in and analytics, and Mapbox for maps. We may disclose information where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.
Overseas storage
Some of our providers store data outside Australia. When that happens, we take reasonable steps to make sure your information is handled in line with this policy and Australian law.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar tools to keep you signed in and to measure how the site is used. We use Google Analytics for this. You can control cookies through your browser settings.
How we keep it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse, and unauthorised access. No online service is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and for as long as the law requires after that. When we no longer need it, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and you can ask us to correct it. To make a request, email us at the address below. If you are not happy with how we handle your information, you can complain to us first. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Children
Ollee is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with a new effective date.
